How to remove adhesive stains

Try an orange-based cleaner as your first line of defense. This will work especially well on small adhesive stains.
Another option is to use WD-40 on a clean dry rag to remove adhesives. This works well for sticker residues, especially.
One option that works wonders, is a small amount of rubbing alcohol applied directly to the glue or adhesive can help loosen the glue residue. Next, rub the stained area with a damp cloth that has a small amount of dish soap.
