Time Required: 15 Minutes
This is the most important step. Having all of your supplies together before you begin means no distractions in the middle of cleaning up. Everything is handy when you need it.
Move on to the sitting room
- Have an attractive leather or leather look box in an unobtrusive place in the sitting room for just such panic situations.Pick up any books,magazines,or toys that are lying around and slip them into the box.Put the lid on so they're out of sight.
Do not try to pick up each item and place it where it belongs. Even if you don't get distracted you will waste time running to all ends of the house multiple times
- Tidy the coffee table .The goal here is to quickly brush off the table and neatly stack its contents. We're not shining the furniture meticulously, or alphabetizing coffee table books.
- Wipe TV screen
- Straighten furniture and rugs
- Plump the cushions
- Spray the room with a god room spray-not of those dubious aerosol cans labelled ''air freshener'.Room sprays may cost a few pounds but they do make a difference.
Now the bathroom
- Remove damp towels and close the shower curtain
- Squirt a little cleaner around the loo,so that it can do its work while you wipe round the sink
- Wipe the mirror
- Put out some nice soap and fresh towel

Tips:
- If you have a few minutes leftover, grab the container and take the missing items to their homes. It will probably only take a few minutes, but save you time tomorrow morning.
- If the living room is relatively clutter free, use your extra time to vacuum the couch interior after finishing the floor.
